The newly created AFL SportsReady Growth Award recognises and celebrates those trainees who have exhibited dedication, courage, and an unwavering spirit in overcoming obstacles on their path to successful graduation. This award is not just a testament to outward achievements; it is a celebration of immense personal growth.
Nominated and awarded by our field officers, mentors, and educators, the AFL SR Growth Award acknowledges that the journey to graduation is not always a straightforward path. Each nominee for this award will have confronted challenges head-on, turning obstacles into opportunities and setbacks into stepping stones. Their stories are a testament to the transformative power of dedication and the additional care and effort required by field officers, educators and mentors to ensure their successful completion.
Field Officers, Educators and Mentors will visit Host Employers to award this prize to trainees accompanied by Marketing who will conduct a human-interest interview and develop a personal growth story.
Nomination Guidelines
- Field officers, Educators and mentors will submit up to three nominations for each separate class in 2023/24
- Nominations will be reviewed by an independent panel as part of the process
