The Career Kickstart program for 2024 will be run by AFL SportsReady, at the new home of the Brisbane Lions in Springfield Queensland.

Across a six-day program, participants will learn the practical skills necessary to get a job in 2024, along with skills to develop themselves. This includes:
- Personal Branding that Leads to a Job
- Getting to yes in the Job Interview
- Tapping the Hidden Job Market, where to look, and how to find jobs that are not advertised
- How to Win Friends and Influence People build relationships with local businesses and employers to share their experiences and industry knowledge
- Learn Skills for the Digital World including communication in the workplace, working in a team, problem-solving, planning and self-management.
