Rachel has joined the AFL SportsReady team in 2019 as Executive Support Officer; encompassing the role of Executive Assistant to the CEO, with additional administrative support for the Executive Team.

A proud Melburnian, Rach comes to AFL SportsReady from a strong background in administration; supporting the Executive team at the Australian Girls Choir for 9 years, as well as having several coaching and coordination roles within the fitness industry.

Through her extensive sports and arts employment experiences, Rachel has developed a passion for supporting the opportunities in people to thrive and succeed. She has witnessed first-hand that it is through having the vehicle of opportunity, with strong support systems in place — that is key in empowering young people to achieve great things.

Combined with her significant experience in keeping others accountable to their goals and professional outcomes, Rachel’s beliefs strongly align with the values at AFL SportsReady.

She describes the opportunity to build her career that encompasses these personal values as very rewarding.

Professionally, Rachel is highly organised and self-motivated. She keeps an impeccable working desk and places a strong focus on achieving the highest standards of diligence in her work.
