Lauren commenced an AFL SportsReady traineeship after graduating from Avilla College in 2006, completing a Certificate III in Sport and Recreation and a Certificate IV in Business. She went on to study a Diploma in Business with AFL SportsReady, before being offered full-employment in 2009.

An incredibly valued member of AFL SportsReady, after being with the company for more than a decade, Lauren is still as passionate about her role as ever. Lauren enjoys teaching and training new staff members and sharing her knowledge and skills gained over an extensive career.

One of Lauren’s biggest achievements to date is winning the prestigious Jill Lindsay Scholarship in 2013, thanks to her determined and innovative approach to her work at AFL SportsReady.

Lauren is also an avid netballer, playing five days a week.
