The Career Kickstart Program for 2024 will be run by AFL SportsReady, at the Beenleigh Events Centre

Across 6 days, participants will learn the practical skills necessary to get a job in 2024, along with skills to develop themselves.

This includes: 

  • Personal Branding that Leads to a Job
  • Getting to yes in the Job Interview
  • Tapping the Hidden Job Market, where to look, and how to find jobs that are not advertised
  • How to Win Friends and Influence People build relationships with local businesses and employers to share their experiences and industry knowledge
  • Learn Skills for the Digital World including communication in the workplace, working in a team, problem-solving, planning and self-management.
