Grant started with AFL SportsReady in 2019, bringing additional marketing, design and digital experience to the Marketing and Communications team.

Grant’s professional qualifications include a Diploma of Professional Writing & Editing and a Bachelor of Writing & Publishing from Melbourne Polytechnic. The practical skills Grant has gained through completing his TAFE qualifications have helped him thrive across a variety of communications and marketing roles.  Some of Grant’s previous experience includes:

> marketing surgical devices to orthopaedic surgeons
> communications and event support for a state government Vocational Education & Training (VET) provider
> membership and executive services for a not-for-profit, supporting Australian bookkeepers
> event and operations support for a leading Melbourne caterer at major events; including the Spring Racing Carnival and Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix
> marketing and digital transformation projects for a cloud-based Software as a Service (SaaS) platform.

Grant has a passion for digital transformation and ways technology can streamline and/or solve business problems. He has helped many small businesses improve their online presence and processes to adapt to the digital world. Grant is hoping to play a key role within AFL SportsReady’s Marketing and Communications team while building on his digital marketing experience and skills.
