AFL SportsReady are currently seeking expressions of interest
for positions available in 2022 within the sport and recreation industry.
Successful applicant will:

  • Be employed by AFL SportsReady
  • Work on-site within a school across Western Australia
  • Study for an accredited qualification: Certificate III Sport & Recreation

  • General administrative support
  • Assist with the delivery of sporting programs and competitions
  • Liaise with other schools regarding interschool sports
  • Support sports coaches
  • Organise sports awards
  • Maintain sporting records
  • Maintain sports equipment
  • Communication with students and parents

This position requires a Working with Children Check. If successful, AFL SportsReady will assist in your application.



As the successful candidate, you will receive:

$15,500 – $19,500 plus 10% Superannuation

  • National Training Wage Award
  • Fully funded qualification




People with tertiary qualifications need not apply. Current university applicants may have to defer their studies to be eligible for this traineeship.
