DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Sports Assistance
 Work with the HPE teachers in their general management and information duties, which will include coordination of activities, preparation and set up for lessons
 Clean and tidy up of the gym area. Keep stocks of sanitizer, paper towels, etc. maintained. Initiate and follow up on any maintenance or servicing tasks or issues
 Assist with student records of attendance
 Assist HPE teachers with the development of fitness plans for individual students
 Support the HPE teachers with general administration duties involving health and fitness
 Attend HPE classes in the gym and surrounding spaces, assisting in learning and development activities
 Supervision of students in the gym, ensuring safe use of equipment, with teacher support
 Assist to provide support to facilitate student learning
 Assist students to facilitate their learning in and out of the classroom
 Engage with the AFLSR in a positive and professional manner to ensure compliance with terms of Employer Agreement and Job Description,

• People with tertiary qualifications need not apply. Current university applicants may have to defer their studies to be eligible for this traineeship.
• This position is best suited to a recent secondary school leaver.
