Position Description: Junior Reception/Office Administration Assistant

Full Time -38 Hours per week. 9am -5.30pm Monday-Friday

Location: Lilydale


The Trainee Receptionist will provide basic administrative support to the relevant business or functions as appropriate to facilitate the smooth running of the Lilydale Office, under the direction
of the office manager.

The trainee will liaise closely with the relevant local Leadership members to fulfil their role requirements, providing a customer focused and effective support service to their local office and
the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Answering phones and directing calls;
• Greeting Clients;
• Providing refreshments for clients;
• Attending to and tidying public areas;
• Collecting, opening, recording and distributing incoming mail;
• Recording and posting outgoing mail;
• Reviewing and distributing emails;
• Managing meeting room use;
• Data Entry.

As the successful candidate, you will receive:

$21,500 – $30,000 plus 11% Superannuation

  • National Training Wage Award
  • Fully Funded Qualification



  • People with tertiary qualifications need not apply. Current university applicants may have to defer their studies to be eligible for this traineeship.
  • This position is best suited to a recent secondary school leaver.
