DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Performing basic administrative and clerical duties by:
Photocopying and preparing teacher aids and resources as required
Filing and organising Performing Arts Resources
Assisting with controlling resources and stock by sourcing prices for supplies, compiling stock orders, and following up on delayed orders
Purchasing of group travel tickets for excursions
Assisting with Performing Arts incursions, excursions and camps, and
Updating the Health & Safety register (MSDS).
Operating and maintaining specialist and general equipment in the Performing Arts Department by:
Cleaning and organising the work areas (Carroll Centre, Ballroom and Music Centre) and equipment for lessons as required
Provide efficient administrative and organisation support to the Performing Arts Coordinator, Performing Arts Staff and College Production Artistic Team
Assume the role of Assistant Producer for the College Production
Coordinate booking programs for evening (eg. set up bookings on TryBooking)
Generally maintaining storeroom, classrooms, studios, shelves and other equipment
Downloading audio visual files assist in the preparation of monitoring and verification process
Maintenance of costumes and props room
Assisting with displays/assemblies: power points / online publications, and
Provide relevant co-curricular music information to the student body, school and community.
Preparing, storing and ordering relevant resources and stock for use by students in classes by:
Checking the availability and access to all resources that are used daily
Preparing lesson materials and equipment for teachers as required, and
Liaise with Performing Arts Centre & Performing Arts staff to assist with scheduling upcoming bookings, bond collection/redistribution processes and general administration duties.

SALARY
As the successful candidate, you will receive:
$21,500 – $30,000 plus 11.5% Superannuation
- National Training Wage Award
- Fully Funded Qualification

MORE INFORMATION
- People with tertiary qualifications need not apply. Current university applicants may have to defer their studies to be eligible for this traineeship.
- This position is best suited to a recent secondary school leaver.
