• Provide exceptional service to customer enquiries, requests for service & business transactions across multiple communication channels including F2F, phone, email etc
• Respond to enquiries on all aspects of Council’s operations.
• Provide efficient, professional, and courteous advice, information, and follow-up.
• Promote and maintain customer service standards. Problem solving and conflict resolution skills with a focus on first contact resolution.
• Communicate with colleagues and clients.
• Prioritise tasks to meet timelines
• High volume data entry and storage of records
• Promote and represent Banyule City Council at community festivals and other community engagement events as required.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with an ability to relate to a wide range of people and communicate with enthusiasm and energy.
• Warm and enthusiastic communication style.
• Understand and appreciate diversity in the workplace, and the community and customer base.
