• Assist Site Supervisor with site administration (signing users in, answering queries around opening hours/offerings, placing orders for consumables)
• Assist with basic maintenance of MakerSpace equipment (3D printers, laser cutters, power tools) under supervision of the Site Supervisor.
• Assist with managing 3D print queues under supervision of the Site Supervisor.
• Assist Site Supervisor with training offerings after basic induction and initial upskilling (Primarily CAD, potentially basic electronics, robotics)
• Assist with basic CAD enquiries and offer advice under supervision of Site Supervisor. This responsibility would grow as their skills and confidence grew.
• Supervise use of basic power tools after basic induction and initial upskilling.

As the successful candidate, you will receive:

$21,500 – $30,000 plus 11% Superannuation

  • National Training Wage Award
  • Fully Funded Qualification



  • People with tertiary qualifications need not apply. Current university applicants may have to defer their studies to be eligible for this traineeship.
