DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Administrative Assistance
• Provide support to the College Leadership Team (Assistant Principals and Business Manager) and the Principal’s EA, as required.
• Manage meeting room bookings and setup.
• Work with the Leaders of Learning on specific administrative tasks and projects.
• Provide support for various finance-related administrative tasks and archiving documents.
Reception and Customer Service
• Provide high-level customer service to internal and external stakeholders, including welcoming visitors and notifying relevant staff of their arrival.
• Answer telephone calls promptly, respond to queries, and manage messages efficiently.
• Monitor and manage sign-in/out registers for contractors and visitors, ensuring compliance with Working with Vulnerable People registration requirements.
• Relieve the Attendance Officer, First Aid Officer, and assist in the sickbay as required.
Pastoral Care
• Assist in managing student attendance records..
• Help with behaviour management administration, such as maintaining spreadsheets for tracking lunch detentions, mobile phone submissions, and Afternoon Reflections.
• Under direction of the Pastoral Care Team provide support of students in need..
Events
• Support various events related to the 60th anniversary celebrations of the College, gaining experience in event management and coordination.
• Assist with bookings (guest speakers, excursions) and events for the pastoral care program.
• Provide logistical and administrative support for events including collation of resources and assistance with the creation of run sheets and program documents.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Strong customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Demonstrated word processing, spreadsheet, and numeracy skills.
• Understanding of confidentiality requirements
• Ability to work both independently as well as collaboratively, within a busy environment
• Current Senior First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• Current and valid ACT Working with Vulnerable People registration

SALARY

As the successful candidate, you will receive:

$21,500 – $30,000 plus 11.5% Superannuation

  • Fully Funded Qualification
