DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Attend and assist in the coordination of Camps and Excursions
• Assist with the conduction of sports and physical activity programs such as PA40+
• Conduct routine maintenance of equipment and facilities including inventory control
• Assist with the planning and execution of Inter-school sports and house carnivals
• General set up and assistance in scheduled Health, PE and Outdoor Ed Curriculum classes
• General administrative support including data entry and tracking
• Maintain student data reporting and systems across various internal platforms
• Involvement in the promotion and marketing of sports and physical activity opportunities

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• A highly professional manner
• Level 2 Provide First Aid Qualification (Or willingness to obtain)
• Community Surf Life Saving Certificate (Or willingness to obtain)
• Experience in the Microsoft suite including word, excel and PowerPoint
– Strong work ethic, including great time management and organizational skills
• Innovative thinker, with an ability to problem solve and think quickly on their feet
• Great interpersonal skills including communication with internal and external stakeholders
• Commitment to work within and positively advance the College’s Mission and Mercy values
• Understanding and/or appreciation of the principles of a Catholic community organisation

As the successful candidate, you will receive:

plus 11.5% Superannuation

People with tertiary qualifications need not apply. Current university applicants may have to defer their studies to be eligible for this traineeship.
This position is best suited to a recent secondary school leaver.
