    This 10-part webinar series – HOW DID YOU GET THAT DREAM JOB? was delivered in conjunction with the National Careers Institute (NCI) and showcases AFL SportsReady alumni who have successful careers from their traineeships.

    WEBINAR 10 - DISCOVER HOW A SCHOOL-BASED TRAINEESHIP LANDED ME MY DREAM JOB

    In the spirit of National Reconciliation Week, we want to highlight the impact traineeships can have on communities and the future careers of young Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people.

    In this webinar, we follow the career journey of two Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander former trainees that launched their careers through a school-based traineeship. What you’ll discover, is not only did the traineeship help set them up for life-long professional skills and a rewarding career, but it also brought a positive impact to their communities and their families, emphasising this is one of the most rewarding parts of the program.

    You will also hear from one of our Indigenous mentor’s and understand the role they play in helping a young person succeed in their traineeship.
