GPT Cadetship Opportunity in Melbourne VIC

Warumilang, in partnership with GPT is seeking applicants for their First Nations Cadetship Program.
The GPT Cadetship Program supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students to complete their undergraduate degree, and gain professional work experience within the organisation.
Cadets are provided with a study allowance and 50 days paid work per calendar year as part of the program.

We are seeking applications from students in the following fields:

Business, Administration, HR, Finance and Project Management.

About the role:

As the Co-ordinator for GPT Space&Co, this role supports small to medium-sized businesses in accessing private, premium workspaces and meeting facilities across our 11 centrally located sites in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

The Co-ordinator plays a key role in assisting their manager with the day-to-day operations of their designated GPT Space&Co location, including member engagement, facilities management, financial administration and business development.

At GPT Space&Co, experience comes first. The Co-ordinator serves as the primary point of contact and the welcoming face of their location, both internally and externally.

Am I eligible?

Positions are open to students all around Australia.  To be considered for a Cadetship you must meet the following criteria:

  • Be of Aboriginal Australian and/or Torres Strait Islander descent
  • Identify as an Aboriginal Australian and/or Torres Strait Islander
  • Be accepted as an Aboriginal Australian and/or Torres Strait Islander in the community in which they live or have lived
  • Be enrolled for full-time study (defined as at least 75% of the full-time study load) at a university located in Australia
  • Be enrolled in their first undergraduate degree course
  • Be studying full time (unless in your final year of study)
  • Be an Australian resident
