The First Nations Business Trainee position at MercyCare is a chance to learn and grow within a supportive team environment. Working in the Mission and Ethos directorate, the Trainee will build practical skills in areas like customer service, general office duties and administration support. This role is all about gaining hands-on experience while contributing to the daily operations. It’s an opportunity to learn on the job, develop new skills and make a positive impact in the workplace.
Key Responsibilities: The Trainee will undertake a variety of general administration duties, including data entry, managing correspondence, responding to email and phone enquiries. Supporting various departments, the Trainee will perform clerical tasks that promote the smooth running of office operations. Additionally, they will actively participate in creating a positive and collaborative team environment by engaging in performance reviews and contributing to ongoing personal learning objectives. The role requires maintaining confidentiality in line with MercyCare policies and assisting with tasks as directed by the manager.
The Trainee must demonstrate the ability to work both individually and within a team, maintain efficient work output and handle cash according to set policies. The role also involves contributing to a supportive workplace culture by engaging with the team in a proactive and positive manner. National Training Wage from: $27,000, plus 11.5% Superannuation
