The Western Bulldogs Football Club is offering an exciting traineeship designed to support young Mob in developing valuable skills, building professional networks and gaining hands-on experience across multiple areas of the Club. The Western Bulldogs First Nations Trainee will have the unique opportunity to rotate through different departments, including Consumer, Marketing, Communications, Commercial Operations, the Western Bulldogs Community Foundation, and the AFL Men’s and AFLW Football departments. This structured traineeship model is designed to help you explore different career pathways, build confidence and develop transferable skills that will set you up for future success.

Key Responsibilities:
– Gain experience across multiple business areas through structured department rotations.
– Respond to customer enquiries and manage data in a central database system.
– Support membership sales and assist with community engagement initiatives.
– Contribute to marketing campaigns, including social media content and promotional activities to boost AFL and AFLW crowd attendance.
– Assist with planning and delivering match day activations, community programs, and yevents.
– Support sponsorship coordination, corporate hospitality, and fan engagement activities.
– Participate in the Nallei Jerring Koori Leadership Program and gain insight into the Club’s AFL and AFLW programs.
– Work alongside industry professionals, be mentored by a dedicated one-on-one mentor, and receive ongoing support from the Club’s Indigenous Programs Manager and AFL SportsReady staff.
