The Outdoor Education Trainee role at Carey is a unique opportunity to acquire essential skills for a career in Outdoor Education. Over the course of the traineeship, you will work as an assistant and developing leader, participating in a range of immersive programs and experiences. The Carey Outdoor Education program offers exposure to a variety of natural environments across Victoria, where you will engage with students across primary and secondary.

Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will support the educational objectives and outcomes of Carey’s Outdoor Education Department. A key part of your responsibilities involves adhering to OH&S requirements and maintaining the department’s Standard Operating Procedures. You will assist in operating outdoor programs and help monitor and maintain equipment as needed.
