AFL Tasmania is the Australian Football League (AFL) subsidiary in Tasmania and its governing body for Australian rules football in Tasmania. The organisation is responsible for AFL-linked Australian rules football development in the state.

As a Game Development Trainee, you will assist with delivering programs and services, working directly with a dedicated team to help grow and develop community engagement through sport. This role provides practical experience in game development, supporting operational aspects of sports programs, and administration.

Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will assist with program preparation and set-up, coordinate record-keeping and database management, manage and supervise facilities, and provide general administrative support to the team. You will work closely with colleagues to ensure efficient operation and contribute to the success of community programs.

The Game Development Trainee position offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sports program coordination and administration. You’ll develop skills in program delivery, facility management, and record-keeping while contributing to a positive and inclusive sporting environment.

National Training Wage from: $26,462, plus 11.5% Superannuation

This role is suitable for recent secondary school leavers
