This full-time traineeship offers a dynamic opportunity to work within a school setting, supporting the organization and coordination of sports carnivals, recreation programs, and physical education activities. The role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in sports, teaching, or coaching, as it involves assisting with various aspects of school sports administration and providing hands-on support during events and physical education lessons.

Key Responsibilities: The trainee will be responsible for helping with the organization of sports carnivals and recreation programs, maintaining sports equipment, and ensuring venues are prepared for sports afternoons. This includes setting up equipment, following up with staff and students, and assisting with the administration of sports programs such as updating fixtures, results, and ladders. The role also involves assisting at school camps and sports events, running activities during PE lessons when needed, and handling IT tasks like data entry and maintaining the sports website.

The position is suited for someone with strong communication and organizational skills who is comfortable working independently and taking initiative. The successful applicant will gain valuable experience in sports administration and practical event coordination while developing skills that will be beneficial for a future career in teaching, coaching, or sports management. This traineeship provides a supportive environment, working closely with the Head of PDHPE/Sport and other school staff.

National Training Wage from: $21,500, plus 11.5% Superannuation
