What is ArtsReady?

The ArtsReady program assists employers in the arts, cultural and creative industries to engage young Australians in traineeships. ArtsReady is delivered by AFL SportsReady Limited, a not-for-profit organisation that specialises in education and employment for over 27 years.

Our national program prepares participants to graduate as job ready for the arts, cultural and creative industries, offering on the job work experience for our trainees, from full-time employment to part-time, over one or two years.

All education is through accredited training, as the program develops and builds the trainees skills throughout the traineeship. We work alongside our ArtsReady employers for the entire traineeship from recruitment, trainee employment, through to their graduation.
